Ages 6-12-years

Half-hour Group Lessons are available through Franklin District schools by arrangement.

Each group has up to 6 students (minimum of 4 before the group can start).
Discounts not available after each term begins.

What you will learn:

• Basic hand techniques, holding sticks, how to hit correctly. These will be monitored through every lesson.
• Reading drum notation using semibreve, minimums, crotchets, quavers, semiquavers and rests
• Group solos on pads
• Bucket drumming with a performance at school 
• Transcriptions of songs
• Rudiments using single stroke roll, double stroke roll, paradiddles and flams
• Writing music for drums
• Drumline 
• Marching
